• — Tito "Big Hammer" Hagler entered to The Unforgiven (Metallica)

This fight pitted FURY XC favorite "Big Hammer" of USA against USA-born Wrestling / Boxing Willian "The Barbarian" Gump. The matchup between Tito "Big Hammer" Hagler and Willian "The Barbarian" Gump was hyped to no end coming into the fight. Would it be able to live up to expectations? It was going to be exciting to find out.

The ref walked the fighters through the usual rules. Both men shook hands in a show of respect and returned to their corners to begin the fight. The fighters touched gloves in respect even before the bell sounded. This was going to be a great tilt between two top fighters, who would be looking to take the other out in devastating fashion. But let there be no doubt, there was a huge amount of respect between both fighters, whether they woudl readily admit it or not. Both fighters came in with something to prove and its been no secret they the two were not the best of friends.

"The Barbarian" came out swinging for the fences right off the ringing of the bell. Willian "The Barbarian" Gump eats a right hand as he shoots but gets the big takedown into Hagler's guard. Willian "The Barbarian" Gump lands hard shots to the body and passes to half. Hagler establishes guard. After some setup punches, Willian came close to finishing on an armbar that "Big Hammer" was able to slam out of. Gump went for the takedown and in the ensuing scramble, Tito seemed to hurt his shoulder. Throughout the rest of the fight, Tito wore a grimace, but did not let it stop him from throwing haymakers. The fight is stood up with less than a minute left in the round. Tito misses with a wild kick standing, Gump shoots in and Tito willingly goes to guard. Gump has his forehead on Tito's chest and in his closed guard as time expires in the round.

"Big Hammer" lands a nice right hand to start the round off and then lands a stiff jab. "Big Hammer" bouncing around and looking very confident standing. Tito lands a nice jab to Gump's head. Hagler throws a couple of knees, Willian clinches with Hagler having the over/under-hooks, he is bleeding and has a huge welt on his forehead. Tito takes home the victory as he finishes off Willian catching him with an arm lock at 02:40 of round 2.

Tito "Big Hammer" Hagler was really happy with the victory, and proceed to play up to the crowd after the fight. He posed and high-fived the fans abundantly on his victory walk to the back. Tito was really funny in his post-fight followup. The fans clearly are getting into this guy, and this star is on the rise. Big things are expected out of him in the future.
