Well, the first round went ok. Wish the draws weren't in there, but what ya gonna do? The guys moving on in the tournament are Bruicie Kibbutz, Kimbo Slice, Clubber Lang and Ergo Dawg. Most people think Brucie will come out on top to meet Jeff Monson for the heavyweight title.

Also on the card for MBZ Heavyweight Tournament Round 2 is Bas Rutten vs Peter File for the Openweight title in the main event. Ruttens record going into the fight is 1-1-3 and Files record is 2-0-1. File, a shoot wrestler, is favoured to beat rutten, a submission wrestler. Ruttens highest point in his career so far is at MBZ 4 when he won the vacant openweight title against Levi Morris. File's highest point so far has been his back to back wins over Levi "The Sex Tiger" Morris and Cheol-So "The Demon" Kim. It hopes to be a good fight. The man favoured to win is Peter File.

Bob Sapp and Bill Goldberg will both be debuting at the tournament, where they will fight for the Super Heavyweight Title. Sapp. a mix-fighter, and Goldberg, a pro wrestler turned cage fighter, will brawl for the strap. Sapp out-weighs Goldberg by 42 pounds and they are both six foot four. The man favoured is Bob Sapp.
 
Vladamir Koslov will meet Zurg Kulger for the super heavyweight number one contendership. Koslov is a trained sambo kickboxer and Kulger is trained in military hand to hand combatant. Kulgers had one fight, which ended in a draw against Bas Rutten for the open weight belt and Koslov has had 6 draws in his career do far. Neither man has had a win thus far. The man favoured is Vladamir Koslov.
 
Another match on the card is the Lightweight title match between Alfredo Sampaio and Charles Bennett. Sampaio is trained in muay thai and brazillian ju-jitsu with a record of 6-61-88. Sampaio's highest point so far has been at K1 World GP-Striking Finals, where he beat Ronnie Douglas via unanimous decision. Bennett is trained in boxing and wrestling, with a record of 25-12-6. The highest points of Bennetts career were at WCF 10 where he beat Matt Budgell via 5-0 decision and and is currently the AFC American Welterweight champion. He won the belt at AFC 5 Bang Theory againstEddie Alvarez via TKO via the doctor in the first round. Bennett and Sampaio have met on four different occasions, with three of the fights going to Bennett and one ending in a draw. The man favoured is Charles Bennett.

The seventh fight on the card is Matt Budgell against Barry McCallister for the MBZ welterweight title. Budgell is a wrestler and bjj practitioner with a record of 0-29-23. McCallister is trained in capoeira with a record of 0-0-1. The man favoured is budgell.

The opening match of the night is Kurt Angle vs Bobby Cox. Angle is making his MMA debut at the tournament. He is trained in wrestling and boxing. An Olympic gold medalist and pro wrestler. Cox is trained in boxing and bjj with a record 1-1-2. The Highest point of Cox's career so far has been at Lang Vs Balboa where he beat Neil Down by doctor stoppage during the third round. Angle is favoured to win this one.
